Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah

Mission Fail.

That’s it. Hari ini dalam sejarah.

Of Love a father and son

Remember ‘Dad I Love you...’ topic. I gave my dad a Motorola Razr V3 phone, which I would say he like it very much from the look on his face (well he I guess dad will love anything a son gave aren’t they?). Well now the phone are with my lil sis, guess what, no matter how much you love your parent, they’ll love their children more, thats why.

Men and Women

Women alwiz remember. They remember how many time you lied to them, what you have done wrong, what they have tell you before. So guys beware of this memory hunger creatures.

Women hate when you forget. They really pissed off if you forgets statistic bout them. Their birthdate, sweet things you have told them, how many siblings they have, where they stay, etc.

Men cherish everything that they do. Thats why men always keep their ol shirts, jeans, shoes, toys, photos. They will relate these memorabilia with event in their life.

Men always think before they act/say as this will have consequences in their future. Since they always cherish everything that they did, they become more cautious in their action. I notice that women can say all the sweets things, promise all the best hope when they in love and simply denied and forget it when they break up. It was like they live segment by segment.

me, irc and regina^

In 99/00 i was actively involves with IRC chatting. Addicted one might say. So there i met this ghurl with nick regina^. She is a kazen to my utp mate. Every night (after 12 is my fav time) if we met, we will chat with each other. I will miss her is shes not around.

It has been going on until one time, she stop chatting and then i stop (i dont even remember when was i gave up chatting). Even so, we still keep in touch through email... On and Off. We exchange stories and updates about each other. Even when i started working in IRIS and she took her Masters we still keep in touch.

Like i said, it an On and Off affairs. Cut story short, i met her couz a few month ago and she suggest i text regina^. I was thinking "ya...why not". From there we started exchange msg until last night i took another steps by calling her. I was kinda afraid (yes i'm afraid) how its gonna go. In the end i spend 3 hours talking to her.

We doesn't sounds like stranger AT ALL. We talk bout a lot of things, past and present. From IRC to email to SMS to Phone. If you ask me whether i feel weird knowing somebody for 5 plus years w/o ever meeting them, i would say not at all infact i feel comfortable with it.

Boo Hoo Clapping Songs

I walk alone i'm lonely
Why should we hear your problems
I sit at home i'm crying
Don't wanna know we don't care
My baby gone she left me
Suit you right boy we know it
My world's gone wrong please help me
We have no time no beat it

And everyday we share our dream
And everynight we laugh at thing

Now you don't care
oohh......
Now you don't feel
ooh.....

So many friends now where they've been
Now you tell me??

Music/Lyric: Joe Kidd

anecdote:
How true is this song could be. Every words reflect the true feeling i felt. A couple years ago i was surrounded with bunch of friends, now... its completely different stories. I can see one by one left me? or is it i'm left behind? tumpat, nad, sudin, abah, piye, kimi, azhar, ijat....those were the days, i cheerish every single moments of it.

6 Days of Fasting lead to One Year of Fasting

Ramadhan have passed. Gone were the month full of blessing and virtue. To those who make full of Ramadhan may Allah pay him handsomely and those who fail may he have a chances to meet another ramadhan.

Now in Syawal, Allah gave us another changes to score big in our ibadah. 6 days of fasting will be rewarded with pahala the same as you fast for 1 year!! I can't imagine anyone in this world nowdays will be able to fast for one year and here Allah gave us the chance for it. What we only need to do is to fast for 6 days in Syawal (provided we didn't miss any puasa in Ramadhan).

The calculation will be simple 30 days in ramadahan plus 6 days in Syawal = 36 X 10 = 360 days! I already did for 4 days (incl today) and 2 more days to go. Well i pray to got i would get the virtue of fasting for 1 year. How simple Islam is.

Hari Raya

Assalamualaikum,

Hari Raya had passed for about 3 weeks. This year i can say it is a completely different raya for me and my family, first we had a new member in. Badrishiah Qaisara (i think i get spelling right) my nephew. All the spotlight goes to this cute lil girl, when our relatives coming they all wanted to see her and imagine the ang pow that she got, which goes (ultimately will be channel to my brother). I enjoy playing with her, she even start to mumbling her baby language, maybe out of curiosity when meeting all new faces.

I can that she is kinda sporting type of baby. She will go to anyone who wants to 'dukung' her, especially men!! She like me and my father but she'll cry out loud when my mon tried to take her...funny.

Secondly, there are not much of friend gathering anymore because some of them were married and celebrating first raya at their wife houses. This include Irfan, Roche and Sede. Next year more will follow suit. Usually on raya eve, we (me, peja, payeik, miji, che we, miji, sede, jimi and roche) will hang out together, lepak until 2-3 o'clock before heading home. Those were the days. I don't even got chances to met Miji aka 'Abe Chik' and roche ....too bad.

As my friends drifting on their own ways, i ponder on my own plan. When the hell i'm gettin married??? Demmit i don't even have a girl friend, gotta make my move or else i'll be left behind.

Dad i love you...

I can't remember when was the last time i said this 3 sacred words to my father. Its not that i don't want to or i'm being 'anak kurang ajar'...but..our relationship is kinda complex. I know taqi would understand coz what happening to him is the same as mine. I respect my dad, i love him, i adore his strengh and determination to raise his family to be something that he can be proud of, he taught us all about good and bad, he become a good role model and everything that i can imagine. However when it come to relationship (read: communication) there is some gap between he and me.

We seldom talk. Most of the time we talk during lunch/dinner, family gathering and when he pick me up from bus station/airport and we only talk some basic Q n A.
Q: "Ramai org dlm flight"
A: "ramai..flight full"
Q: "make doh ko"
A: "Apih make roti jah tadi"
...and stuff like that.

We are like stranger though i can be very talkative with stranger... well i tried to show more of my 'care' to him. This raya i have a very special present for him... a Motorola Razr v3. I guess this is the first time i gave him such an expensive present, frankly i'm very seldom gave him present. Mostly i bring something for the whole family like choc when i get back. This time its gonna be personal. Smthg specially for him.

I got this phone from a competition that i enter at my work place, though its free its not that easy to win it. At first i have an idea to give it to a friend for hxx birthday but thinking of it, i should prioritize... its gotta be My Father First, since i dont have a mum anymore.

Inflation in Malaysia??

Taki- weh aku dah balik la. Bukak puasa UTP ko gi tak... jom la memeriahkan majlis.

Inflation- if my mind doesn't fail me, is define as a power of buying among consumer getting lower. Well i think that was taught by Mr ...errr demmit i forgot that Economic lecturer name. Because i'm not satisfied with my owner, i dig down google and found out a more 'economical' definition.

In economics, inflation is an increase in the general level of prices of a given kind. General inflation is a fall in the market value or purchasing power of money within an economy, as compared to currency devaluation which is the fall of the market value of a currency between economies. General inflation is referred to as a rise in the general level of prices.

well not bad huh with my definition. It complex to talk inflation as a whole but lemme give a simple example, when i personally feel infalation in Malaysia is getting high.

We are now in Holy MOnth of Ramadan, anywhere we can see 'Pasar Ramadan' crop up like a mushroom after rain. I went to one of this PR to buy stock of carbohydrate, fat and protein for my 'bukak puasa'. At one stall i ask how much is the 'kueh', this kueh is like jelly thing, org kelantan panggil 'beleda'. That sweet stallowner simply said 'seringgit tiga'. What??? seringgit tiga for that kinda small piece of jelly. I don't normally do groceries, but last time i remember that jelly should cost only 20c per piece. Maybe i'm being ignorance previously.

So what is the value of 10,20 cent nowdays.Nothing? except to make a local calls. I usually have to fork out almost 7 bucks for every 'bukak puasa'. 3 bucks main course, 1-2 bucks drink (3 bucks for a jug of sugarcane drink), 2 bucks for 2 diff kind of 'kueh'.

iNFLATION rate for Malaysia in 2004 is 1.3%. That mean prices for various product have rise 1.3% from previous year. If you got your annual increament of 7%, in reality you only get 5.7% (7-1.3). Well it does make a different for a low and middle class ppl like me and you??

Honor Among Men

A man should never crossed other man's relationship. If he did, he is committing one of the biggest sin in manhood. This code of honor have never been 'officially' written in any manuscript/books/journal/magazines/etc, but it was pass down from generation to generation through other informal ways. You should always respect a relationship space between a two couples and should not ever jump/crawl/walk/runnning/swim/dive/enter into that space. That space is like a chartered area, protected......virtually. Some still purposely and/or unwittingly ignore this code of honor and went into that space and the consequences will be....disaster.

Yes, a total disaster if there is third party in any relationship. Have NOT history thought us very well on this matter...or we just choose to be simply being ignorant and arrogant? Don't you know about Qabil, Habil and Iqlima (women) story? Let me give you brief introduction, the rest you can read it elsewhere. Qabil, Habil, Iqlima and Labuda were all Adam and Eve children, the last 2 were women. Allah ordered Adam to married Qabil with Labuda and Habil with Iqlima. Qabil rejected that proposal because he prefer Iqlima which is more prettier than Labuda (see..how men were very affectionate to beauty). Cut story short, the triangle strunggle betwen Qabil, Habil and Iqlima ended with a FIRST killing on earth. Qabil was the perpetrator. There was always victim in love triangle and the winner will also be a loser according to the men code of honor.

Some women activist will cry foul at me. They will say this is unfair, let the best men win. Well to be honest i think they have misused this 'unholy' axiom. If the girl is single and available (are there status of single and not available...??) then you(read: women) may cheer 'Best Men Win'. It is always a competition among various type of animal (including homo sapien) to fight for their mating (read: loving) partner. BUT, if youre already engaged (including 'declare'/'couple'/'engaged'/'married') and still shouting for Best Men Win, i think YOUre absolutely absurd and selfish. I despise you.

...to be continue
